SWFRP announces candidate for 7 May county elections

Keith has lived in the town for over 40 years and has been a town councillor for the past 12 years. He was also one of our 2 councillors on Chelmsford City Council representing Woodville and Elmwood wards between 2019 and 2023. While chairman of the Town Council's Environment Committee he helped set up the Climate & Ecological Emergency Working Party which delivered the Town's Climate Emergency Toolkit in 2021.

The leader of the South Woodham Ferrers Resdients Party is determined to see that South Woodham Ferrers, Woodham Ferrers and Bicknacre receive the infrastructure they need...in the town, villages and on the Dengie. That includes the provision of sufficient roads, water treatment, public transport, education and health facilities.

While a City Councillor he reminded the developers that any new housing needs to be designed to low energy use standards and the development must give a net gain for biodiversity.
